CourseConnect AI
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CourseConnect AI LLC (“CourseConnect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for using the CourseConnect iPhone app (including beta builds) and our website at courseconnectai.com (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. CourseConnect AI LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia, formed on June 26, 2026.
You must be at least 17 years old to use CourseConnect. Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your Account. If you think someone else has accessed it, email support@courseconnectai.com right away.
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Signing in with Apple or Google is also covered by their terms.
CourseConnect is a study app for college students. It includes:
We're actively building CourseConnect, so features may change. Beta builds may have bugs and are provided so you can try the app early.
When you share a grades page from your D2L, Canvas, or other school account, you're choosing to send what's on that page to CourseConnect. Only share pages you're allowed to access, and make sure doing so follows your school's rules. We never ask for your school password.
CourseConnect is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school or learning platform. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners. Always check imported grades against your school's official records.
Only record where you're allowed to. Some schools, professors, and states require permission before recording a class or conversation. You're responsible for following those rules and for how you use your recordings, transcripts, and notes.
Your Content belongs to you. You give CourseConnect permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to run the Service for you, for example, to write your notes, answer your questions, and sync your data across your devices. We don't sell Your Content.

CourseConnect helps you study and stay organized. It doesn't replace going to class, reading your official course materials, or talking with your professors. See our Academic Integrity page for how we think about this.
CourseConnect is free during the beta. If we ever add paid plans, we'll tell you the price up front and you'll never be charged without agreeing first.
You get CourseConnect through Apple's TestFlight or App Store, so Apple's terms for those services also apply. Apple isn't responsible for CourseConnect or its support.
CourseConnect owns the app, website, design, and brand. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as these Terms allow.
If you believe something on CourseConnect (for example, a shared note) infringes your copyright, email support@courseconnectai.com with the work, where it appears, your contact information, and a statement that you believe in good faith it's infringing. We'll remove content that infringes.
You can delete your Account from Profile in the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, when the law requires it, or to protect other users and the Service.
If we ever shut CourseConnect down, we'll try to give you at least 30 days' notice and a chance to export Your Content. Sections that should naturally continue after an account ends (like ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability) still apply.
CourseConnect uses AI, and AI can get things wrong, including deadlines, grades, policies, and what was said in a lecture. Always check anything important against your school's official sources.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT NOTES, TRANSCRIPTS, OR IMPORTED GRADES WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourseConnect AI LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the Service, including academic penalties from relying on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
You agree to cover CourseConnect AI LLC for claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that come from Your Content, notes you share, recordings you make, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the “Last updated” date, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email. Using the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Except where the law says otherwise, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in Georgia. Before filing a claim, please email support@courseconnectai.com so we can try to sort it out first.
